Aufsturz

The lovely Kerstin from the Aufsturz called us once again right after the summer break in the club, and we gladly said "Sure!". Let me remind you that Aufsturz not only has the largest variety of fine beers in Berlin and incredible salads, but it also has a real cool club downstairs. Which is also their biggest disadvantage, having to carry all the heavy shit downstairs, especially after the gig, when everybody's too tired to think (when's an elevator built?)

Anyway, there we were again, ready to rock the house down. Sound tech Jakob did a great job as usual, though this time we may have been "a little" louder than expected. Sorry, mate, but you can't turn down a drummer like you turn down an amp! :o)

There were a lot of old friends, but better still, a lot of new friends who'd come to see us for the first time. To all of them, thankyou! We did two sets à 40 minutes, and sure as shit we wanted everybody to sweat with us. We fucking made it. Starting with Foo Fighters racous opener "In Your Honor" from their new album and letting the eardrums bleed. I love that song, it's an incredible opener. Hats off to Mr Dave Grohl. We also did our already hugely expected "Toxic" cover (seems like a favourite among our not-so-distinguished audience) and near the end we also played another Foo track, "No Way Back", that has somehow found its way into our regular set. After "Titanium" and the fastest "While You Can" you can imagine, you fockers wanted more, and so we crept back onstage for a very special dedicated "Peaches" plus "Breed" and everybody happy. With a sore throat and ringing ears. That's pussy pop for you. :o)

Already looking forward to play Aufsturz once again. I think Kerstin too. My brain is swimming...
