Studio diary: day 18 (last)

At last. Finally. About fucking time. This sessions for this album are over. Done. Finished. Last Friday I went to Daniel's to do the last vocals for "Seattle Girl" and then overdub a few crazy effects on it and "Vertigo". And that was it, no more, no less. After 18 sessions the winter has gone, springtime is fighting its way and this little band has recorded eleven lovely tunes for your pleasure.

Now the fun part begins. We'll be shipping the raw tracks to Almería, Spain, where our good friend and yet great engineer Gonzalo Ramos is going to mix and polish them to their final shape. I hope this album won't take as long as they usually need in this band, but I guess somewhere around the end of summer we might have it ready to ship. Well, that if we find a decent title for it. Yes, silly as it may seem, we haven't found the right name for the baby. Proposals are welcome.

It's been a pleasure taking down notes of the recording and sharing them with you. It will be a an even greater pleasure if you like the record. Until then, good night and good luck.
